The Madurai Arbitration and Conciliation Council (MACC) is committed to conduct all its activities with the highest standards of integrity, transparency, fairness and accountability. We have a zero-tolerance approach towards corruption in any form, whether directly or indirectly.
Our Commitment
- We will comply with all applicable anti-corruption laws, regulations and ethical standards.
- We will not offer, promise, give, solicit or accept any bribe, facilitation payment, reward or any other undue advantage to obtain or retain business or to gain any improper advantage.
- We will ensure transparency in our processes, decision-making and financial transactions.
- We will maintain accurate and complete records of all our activities.
Our Expectations
We expect all our members, arbitrators, mediators, staff, volunteers, partners and stakeholders to:
Act with honesty, integrity and fairness at all times.
Refrain from any act of corruption, extortion or embezzlement.
Report any suspected or actual corruption or unethical conduct.
Cooperate with any internal or external investigation.
Reporting & Whistleblower Protection
Any person may report concerns about suspected corruption or unethical practices in confidence. MACC is committed to protecting the identity of whistleblowers and ensures that no individual will face retaliation for reporting in good faith.
Non-Compliance
Any violation of this Anti-Corruption Protocol will be taken seriously and may result in disciplinary action, including termination of association and legal action.
