MACC's arbitration rules are designed to align with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (as amended) while incorporating global institutional best practices. Our rules ensure that proceedings are conducted with maximum efficiency and minimum court intervention.
Claimant files the request with MACC, detailing the dispute and the arbitration agreement.
Respondent submits their defense and any counter-claims within the stipulated timeline.
MACC facilitates the appointment of one or three arbitrators as per the agreement.
Procedural meetings, evidence submission, and final arguments occur systematically.
The final award is drafted, scrutinized, and delivered within the time limit (usually 12 months).
The final award is binding and enforceable as a decree of the Civil Court.
MACC provides a transparent schedule of fees based on the 'Amount in Dispute'. This allows parties to budget for resolution with absolute clarity from the very beginning.
